How to get a vaccination certificate online ?

To get a vaccination certificate online through Cowin. It is very easy just follow the steps given below.

• Open browser and then open official cowin website. The link of the website is https://www.cowin.gov.in/

• Click on option “Register/Sign in” it is present at top right corner of the page.

• A different page gets open, Enter your mobile number there and then click on “Get OTP”.

• Check your mobile there will be an OTP sent by Cowin in messages. Enter that OTP and click on ‘Verify and Proceed’.

• A new page will appear. If you have taken only one vaccine then click on the option ‘Certificate’ which is present in the box of Dose 1. And if you have taken both the vaccines then click on the option ‘Certificate’ which is present in the box of Dose 2.

• There would be two options ‘download’ and ‘Save to digi-locker’ click on download and the certificate will get downloaded in your device and if you have a account of digi-locker then press option ‘save to digi-locker’ it will save your certificate to digi-locker.

How to get a vaccination certificate through apps ?

There are many apps from which you can download your vaccination certificate. Applications like Umang, Arogya setu, and Digi-locker can be used for vaccination certificates.

 How to get vaccination certificate from Umang ?

• Open the app Umang. If you don’t have it, download it from the play store.
• There would be an option called ‘What’s new’ click on it.
• There in the section there would be an option called news.
• In the news tab there would be an option of cowin. Click on it.
• There would be an option called ‘Download vaccination certificate’ click on it.
• Enter your mobile no. there. And also enter the OTP which will be sent on your mobile.
• Click on the option to download the certificate.

How to get vaccination certificate from Aarogya setu ?

• Open the app Aarogya setu. If you don’t have it, download it from the play store.
• Click on the Cowin tab present at the top of the page.
• Enter your 13 digit reference id of the beneficiary .
• Click on covid-19 vaccination certificate.
• Click on Download and the vaccination certificate will get downloaded.

How to Get vaccination certificate through digi-locker ?

• Open the app digi-locker. If you don't have it, download it from the Play Store.
• Click on the central government tab.
• Click on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) option.
• Click on the option ‘vaccine certificate’.
• Click on the vaccine certificate link .
• Enter your 13 digit reference id to download the certificate.

Do not share vaccination certificate

After you get the vaccination certificate, follow these steps. Do not share the certificate on any social media platform like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as the certificate contains important data about you which can be used by cyber fraudsters. The Government of India has passed a warning against sharing certificates on social media platforms.
